Ellipses Dance Company was a Los Angeles based ScreenDance company under the direction of Irene Young and Kelly Ciurczak, two USC alums who met while choreographing for and dancing with the USC Repertory Dance Company. The pair, who share a love for cinema, created Ellipses in order to blend their two biggest passions in life – dance and film. Using YouTube as its platform, Ellipses' mission was to put storytelling at its forefront, promote indie musicians, and overall make dance more accessible to a broader audience. Over the course of 1 season, Irene and Kelly produced and directed three dance films as well as Behind the Scenes digital content for the YouTube channel.
